 Roulette

If you're hoping for a big win (35 to 1) you can place a chip on your favourite number. To cover two adjacent numbers such as 8 and 11 or 35 and 36, place a chip on the line between those numbers. The odds paid if you win will be 17 to one.

For a street, covering any three numbers in a line (e.g. 4, 5 and 6 or 31, 32, and 33), the odds are 11 to 1. To cover two adjacent streets (i.e. 6 numbers such as 31 to 36), the odds are 5 to 1. For a corner, where you cover any four numbers (e.g. 1, 2, 4 and 5) by placing a chip on the corner where four numbers meet pays 8 to 1.

Details of the odds paid on all the various number combinations are included on the roulette cards available at each table.

The options on the Roulette Race Track are also outlined.

The illuminated display of numbers at each table shows the last 16 spins that have come up on the wheel. From the time to time it also shows the percentages of high and low numbers, red to black and odd to even.

A word about Zero

The colours relating to the numbers on the roulette wheel are either red or black except for zero, which is green. You can wager on zero just like any other number and receive odds of 35 to 1 if you win. Some people like betting on zero because you can keep track of it as the Roulette wheel spins.

However if zero comes up and you're on any of the even money chances (such as red or black), the house wins.

Many people say that Roulette is the most tantalising of all Casino games!

Buying some Chips

Bets at the Casino are made with Casino chips. You can purchase these at any of the tables. Simply place the amount you wish to invest (dollar value chips and notes only) on the table and the Croupier will pass you the equivalent in coloured Roulette chips.

Coloured Roulette chips can only be played on the Roulette tables. Each table has its own set of coloured chips so make sure you cash in your coloured chips for dollar value chips before you leave the Roulette table to go and play another game. Chips with a dollar value can be cashed in at the cashiers window at any time.
